The latest editorial shoot for Jessica Lewis' made-to-order “No More Slaves” Tee offers a glimpse into the next evolution of the designer's creative vision. Designed in her Manchester studio, the tee stands as a symbol of her commitment to intentional, slow fashion. With its timeless, minimal aesthetic, it speaks volumes about Lewis’ core values: ethical craftsmanship, sustainability, and the quiet power of simplicity.

The shoot itself was a reflection of Jessica’s understated yet purposeful approach. Set in her unfinished home, our three-person team moved around her home at an unhurried pace, taking the time to capture the essence of the minimal pieces in a setting as raw and authentic as her designs.No excess—only a focused pursuit of finding the right moment. Jessica’s dining room chairs were used as action props, and materials found in the house were used as backdrops. Every detail &#38;nbsp;was unapologetically her. Echoing the brand’s ethos of repurposing the unembellished. Finding the beauty in what’s already here.
This shoot wasn’t just the beginning of Jessica’s new journey as a designer—it was a bold statement. In her pieces since this shoot, Jessica has embraced fashion that moves at a slower pace. A style that celebrates minimalism and timeless elegance, crafted through ethical and natural means. The "No More Slaves" Tee marks the start of something profound: a new standard in fashion that creatives everywhere should take note of.

A L O N E &#38;nbsp;T O G E T H E R.
The internalisation that each and every person we see is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. The paradoxical comfort of catching a glimpse of a first date, of friendships reconnecting, family outings or solo travellers disconnecting, prayers not yet answered, anxious thoughts breaking through. All of these stories taking place invisibly around you and indifferent to you. These unseen stories, occurring side by side, create an intricate tapestry of life that no one person can ever appreciate in it’s entirety. We are only ever allowed to witness the lives we’ve woven around us. That’s the echo of being "alone together"—a sense of collective solitude in a world teeming with individuality. We all experience this life from our own unique lens, but it is this aloneness that paradoxically unites us.
That is where I found myself on a mildy warm Ferbruary day in Italy. Finding the art in framing these stories. In immortalizing the unseen connections and the fleeting stories that I’ll never be privy to. But that’s where the magic lies and the pressure releases within myself. 
Alone together is the sprawling echo of our unique perspectives in life. Every photograph is not just a frozen moment, but a testament to the intricate, untold narratives unfolding in the lives of those around us.&#38;nbsp;Every person you pass holds a world within them, hurtling through the space betwen. &#38;nbsp;And sometimes, if you stop and find a view, all it takes is a click of the shutter to bring their story to life. We are alone in this life to be sure. But at least we’re alone together.

The Smiley Charity Film Awards finalist A Call from Home follows Janos, a victim of forced labour in the UK. Crippled by guilt, shame, and fear, Janos is unable to disclose his situation to his partner back home. 
Based on the real life experiences of male survivors of modern slavery that Hope for justice support. The film aimed to honestly reflect and raise awareness about this often-overlooked group of victims and their unseen barriers.&#38;nbsp;

Give them Hope film focuses on “Emer”, a victim of sexual exploitation who instead of celbrating with her family is under the control of her trafficker. For the millions who celebrate Christmas, it is a time to share time and experiences with family and loved ones. 

And while Emer’s story is fictional, it draws directly from real case studies of survivors who are still trapped in their unique human trafficking situations.

	Director’s StatementI chose to write and direct the film The Last Day for two main reasons. First, I wanted to offer a nuanced portrayal of growing up in the UK as a first-generation immigrant. Capturing the subtle, everyday racism that many people including our protagonist Navraj experience. Even from those closest to him. This exploration of identity and belonging felt deeply personal to me.

The second reason came from a candid conversation with an older friend, which resonated deeply. I had recently gotten married and found myself grappling with the changes in my relationships, particularly with male friends. My older friend confided that one of his biggest regrets was not doing more to maintain his male friendships.

This conversation inspired me to explore the often complex and sometimes unhelpful traits associated with masculinity. How it can shape and strain meaningful relationships. This is the main drive for why Ben &#38;amp; Navaj’s friendship is pushed to a breaking point.

As a first-generation immigrant myself,I felt a strong connection to the character of Navraj. Drawing clear parallels between Navraj’s experiences and my own in the early 2000s. These themes are still relevant today, reflecting the experiences of many people across the UK.
