Creative Vision.

The latest editorial shoot for Jessica Lewis' made-to-order “No More Slaves” Tee offers a glimpse into the next evolution of the designer's creative vision. Designed in her Manchester studio, the tee stands as a symbol of her commitment to intentional, slow fashion. With its timeless, minimal aesthetic, it speaks volumes about Lewis’ core values: ethical craftsmanship, sustainability, and the quiet power of simplicity.

The shoot itself was a reflection of Jessica’s understated yet purposeful approach. Set in her unfinished home, our three-person team moved around her home at an unhurried pace, taking the time to capture the essence of the minimal pieces in a setting as raw and authentic as her designs.

No excess—only a focused pursuit of finding the right moment. Jessica’s dining room chairs were used as action props, and materials found in the house were used as backdrops. Every detail  was unapologetically her. Echoing the brand’s ethos of repurposing the unembellished. Finding the beauty in what’s already here.

This shoot wasn’t just the beginning of Jessica’s new journey as a designer—it was a bold statement. In her pieces since this shoot, Jessica has embraced fashion that moves at a slower pace. A style that celebrates minimalism and timeless elegance, crafted through ethical and natural means. The "No More Slaves" Tee marks the start of something profound: a new standard in fashion that creatives everywhere should take note of.
