The Smiley Charity Film Awards finalist A Call from Home follows Janos, a victim of forced labour in the UK. Crippled by guilt, shame, and fear, Janos is unable to disclose his situation to his partner back home.
Based on the real life experiences of male survivors of modern slavery that Hope for justice support. The film aimed to honestly reflect and raise awareness about this often-overlooked group of victims and their unseen barriers.
